1 injured when passenger vehicles, semi collide in Big Lake Twp, MN

BIG LAKE TWP, MN – One person was hospitalized after several vehicles, including a semi-truck, collided at an intersection in Big Lake Township on Wednesday morning.

Minnesota State Police responded to the scene at 9:45 a.m. on May 4. According to their initial report, a Chevrolet Equinox and a Ford Ranger were both traveling southbound on Highway 25 when a semi heading east on MN Country Road 11 collided with them.

Daniel Silva, the 29-year-old driver of the Ford, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the wreck. Emergency responders took him to Monticello Hospital.

No one else appears to have been injured in the crash.
