4-car crash in Maple Lake Twp sends 1 driver to hospital

BUFFALO, MN – One person was hospitalized on Thursday following a four-vehicle crash that took place in Maple Lake northwest of Buffalo last Thursday.

Minnesota State Police responded to the crash shortly before 4:15 p.m. on April 23.

They believe that Chevrolet Equinox was headed west on MN-55 when it collided with Volkswagen Passat, Nissan Titan, and Mercury Mariner at the highway’s intersection with Baker Street. The Nissan and Mercury had both been traveling southbound, while the Volkswagen was headed north.

We do not know the exact cause of the crash at this time.

The Chevy’s driver was taken to Buffalo Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Police identified her as Jessica Kristine Willson, a 34-year-old resident of Annandale.
