ST. PAUL, MN – A driver is lucky to be unharmed after an illegal turn caused his vehicle to be hit by a Metro Transit Green Line train on Monday morning.
ABC 5 reports that the collision happened at about 6:30 a.m. on April 20 at the intersection of University and Hampden Avenues.
Police say the driver made an illegal left-hand turn in front of the westbound train. The collision shut down train service for about a half hour.
