MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A Metro Transit bus slammed into a south Minneapolis home after being hit by a pickup truck that ran a stop sign, Fox 9 reports.
The collision happened at the intersection of 10th Avenue and 38th Street earlier this morning.
Authorities say the pickup was speeding when it ran through the intersection and hit the bus, which spun out and crashed into a nearby home. The pickup burst into flames, killing its driver.
Emergency responders took the bus’s driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. That individual was the bus’s only occupant at the time.
