MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A collision is blocking eastbound traffic on I-694 between Exit 38 to Central Avenue and Exit 39 to Silver Lake Road.
511 Minnesota first reported the collision at 8:30 a.m. this morning.
A traffic camera captured at least the aftermath of the crash, although its view is partially obscured by a pine tree.
It appears that a sedan of unclear make and model spun out and stopped facing the wrong way.
We can see eastbound traffic backing up quite some way. Driver should seek alternate routes or be prepared to wait.
We do not know the cause of the accident or whether it injured anyone. We will provide updates if that information becomes available.
