MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The driver who struck and killed University of St. Thomas student Seham Hassen on March 22 and then fled has been identified, arrested, and charged, KARE 11 reports.
Police arrested 22-year-old Gabryella Marie Liebgott in connection with the incident on April 3. She was charged in Hennepin County District Court with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide on April 6.
Liebgott allegedly sped away from an Uptown bar where she’d been drinking at around 2:30 am on March 22. The fatal hit-and-run occurred in the 1600 block of Marshall Street NE around 3:10 am.
Liebott is scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
