Driver hospitalized after Impala and Edge collide in Hutchinson Twp

HUTCHINSON TWP, MN – A woman was hospitalized yesterday as the result of a two-vehicle crash that happened east of downtown Hutchinson.

Minnesota State Police report that a 2013 Chevrolet Impala and a 2016 Ford Edge were both traveling northbound on MN-22 when they collided with each other near MN-7 at about 1:15 p.m. on May 12. They did not say what caused the crash.

Allina Ambulance took the Ford’s driver to Glencoe Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She has been identified as Jennifer Elizabeth Wanous, 62, of Silver Lake. We do not know her current condition.
