WATAB TWP, MN – A driver was injured on Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a tree off of US-10 in Benton County.

Minnesota State Police say that Samuel Thorpe was driving his 2015 Nissan Sentra east when the vehicle left the roadway near mile marker 166, drove down a ditch, and collided with a tree.

Emergency responders took the 43-year-old man to St. Cloud Hospital. They do not believe his injuries are life-threatening.
