MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A man was killed in an apparent hit-and-run accident on Chicago Avenue last Saturday morning, CBS News reports.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the collision occurred on the 1800 block of Chicago Avenue around 11:39 am. Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man lying in the road. The man was transported to Hennepin Healthcare where he later died of his injuries.
Now, police are investigating the incident to determine whether the man was struck or dragged by a vehicle that then fled the scene. A potential suspect vehicle was discovered nearby, but no arrests have been made.
