SAUK RAPIDS TWP, MN – A woman was killed on Saturday afternoon when a driver pulled out in front of her, striking her motorcycle.
KNIS reports that the fatal motorcycle accident happened at Mayhew Lake Road NE and 10th Street NE at about 12:30 p.m. on May 16.
Authorities say that a 60-year-old St. Cloud man heading west on 10th St. stopped for a stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection, where he hit a motorcyclist traveling south on Mayhew Lake Rd. They say the motorcyclist had the right of way.
Emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital, where she died. She has been identified as Meghan Moran, a 27-year-old resident of Sauk Rapids.
Police continue to investigate.
