MINNEAPOLIS, MN – State police responded to a serious motorcycle accident that happened on westbound I-94 in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood early yesterday morning.
They say that a Harley-Davidson was traveling at a high rate of speed when its rider took the Cedar Ave. exit. He subsequently reentered the interstate’s westbound lanes and collided with a guardrail. The motorcycle and its rider ended up in the right lane of traffic.
Emergency responders rushed the rider to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Authorities have identified him as Shon Lamar Brown, a 52-year-old resident of Minneapolis. We do not know Brown’s current condition.
