CBS reports that the incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. at W 46th Street and Aldrich Avenue S.
Emergency responders pulled the trooper from their vehicle and transported them to an area hospital. Another trooper said the trooper suffered shoulder injuries and lacerations but that the injuries were not life-threatening.
We do not know whether anyone else was injured in the crash, which drew a heavy police response. Units with the Minneapolis Police Department and Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene, as were firefighters and other first responders.
