MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A truck crashed into a popular bar and restaurant after running a red light on Monday morning, KSTP reports.
The collision occurred at Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room at the intersection of University Avenue Northeast and Lowry Avenue. The intersection is known as being particularly dangerous, and the bar’s ownership group says that vehicles have collided with the building more than 20 times since the bar opened in 2010.
The area is so dangerous that it MnDOT will overhaul it sometime next year.
The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
